1) Environmental pollution: types, causes, effects and controls: Air, Water, Soil and noise pollution. (Marks: 10)
2) Environmental policies & practices: Climate change, global warming, Ozone layer depletion, acid rain and impacts on human communities and agriculture. (Marks: 10)
# Submission of a field work (covering the above practical works undertaken). (Marks: 05)

To celebrate the occassion of TEACHERS’ DAY, the NSS unit and the NCC unit of Islampur College are going to organize a Blood Donation Camp in the college campus on 5th September, 2017, from 12.00 noon to 3.00 pm. All NCC cadets, NSS Cadets, Students, Teachers and Non-Teaching staff of Islampur College are requested to participate and donate blood in the camp. Co-operation from all concerned is highly solicited to make the camp successful.
The students of the Part – I in Arts, Commerce and Science are requested to attend the Environment Science class to know the project paper to be prepared within the stipulated time. Otherwise they will have to scamper here and there and they will be confounded. Classes will be the proper place to get oneself equipped properly
This is to inform the Girls students of the minority community that the Girls’ Hostel for the minority community is lying vacant for some time.
